While working in the legal cannabis industry in Canada for Hyde Advisory & Investments and its umbrella companies Cannabis MarketSpace, CannaNavigators and Cannabis Global Consultants, I had the opportunity to create a variety of over 600 designs, including company decks, newsletters, social media posts and advertising banners.

THE OYSTER INN
The Oyster Inn is a restaurant located in Nice, France. 'Inspired by the serene Mediterranean breeze, we curate a menu featuring the freshest oysters, a true homage to the sea’s treasures'. Woven throughout the brand identity are contour lines generated from a topographic map of the Côte d'Azur’s coastal region. These contour lines represent the oysters’ place of origin, and are designed to show elevation & depression. I love the give and take of space represented by these lines, and felt it represented what The Oyster Inn was looking to highlight - the harmony between taking from the earth's natural bounty & providing a space for serenity and enjoyment.

INITIAL PROMOTIONAL POSTERS
Briefed by Initial, a leading washroom hygiene brand, I designed a cohesive poster series for their new scent range, balancing visual unity with distinct elements to reframe public washrooms as fresh, inviting spaces.

TLC DOG GROOMERS
I created a new visual identity for a local dog groomers. The main aim was to design something fun, refreshing and different. The business card & flyer involved the customer by effectively grooming the illustrated dog through motion (i.e. flipping the card/flyer).

KILLING IN THE NAME
This brief stated to find a song that represented a movement, and create a graphic to reflect that. I used Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name' in relation to police brutality. The vinyl cover shows a banksy-esque officer trying to cover up the names of every victim who was shot and killed by the police from the years 2017-2019.

STELLAR SPACE HOTEL
I was tasked with the mission of creating a brand from the inside out and bringing it to life via multiple applications. I created the first hotel in space called Stellar, and used touchpoints such as the world's first space festival to evoke excitement and anticipation from the audience.

CHALLENGING PERCEPTIONS
We were given a brief to use typography to design a book cover for a dissertation called 'Challenging Perceptions'. I used text to form a tunnel, visually representing the concept of staying static with unchallenged perceptions.

ADIDAS BRIEF
This brief stated to create an Adidas campaign to promote the fabric of a city. I created a 'trio race' requiring competitors to race against a bus, a tram and a train to simultaneously promote Adidas' brand and Nottingham's award winning transport system.
